Engineering risk consulting is a core activity for AGCS. Our Allianz Risk Consulting (ARC) Engineering team have hands-on experience working in construction and operational engineering roles, so you can rely on in-depth knowledge of areas such as oil and gas, power plants, renewable energy, heavy industry, electrical engineering, buildings, construction and large infrastructure projects (heavy civil engineering projects).

We offer flexible and tailor-made engineering risk consulting. We do this by getting to know your business and risk profile through open dialogue and working with you on-site, where your risks are evident.

Our core services include:

  • global loss control inspections
  • recommendations to improve machinery breakdown
  • business interruption risk analysis
  • engineering assessments and inspections
  • construction project evaluations
  • support for settling claims and post-loss investigations
  • health and safety inspections and consultancy services

Typically, such services will include a detailed evaluation of the inherent hazards, management systems, external exposures and business continuity exposures. They may also include (where appropriate) a review of work methods and quality and safety management systems.

We also can develop risk improvement proposals based on our broad technical expertise, experience and knowledge of industry specific losses. Additionally, we offer general advice on construction technologies, machinery and equipment, and associated protection systems.

The products and services described on this page may not be available in all AGCS locations. Please contact your local office for full information on local product availability.
