The Allianz Center for Technology is the leading consulting and research institute of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) for risk engineering, safety, and technology. It provides technological expertise, loss analysis, damage analysis services and loss prevention services for the Allianz global insurance network, for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty entities and for third party-customers.
Allianz Center for Technology (AZT) has 80 years of expertise in damage analysis services and a broad spectrum of supporting laboratory equipment. The expert team supports both Allianz with internal research and analysis as well as providing services for external clients to review risks and to analyze losses based on our loss prevention services.
This is a unique institution in the insurance world: known as an objective and technical fact-based research institute, AZT provides its customers with technical support in settling industrial claims and offers loss prevention services, investigation and risk management research for insurance companies, reinsurers, loss adjusters, manufacturers, operators and producers.

AZT turns 80
In 2012, the AZT celebrated eight decades of damage analysis and loss prevention. To mark the occasion, AGCS released A Tradition of Risk Expertise & Insight. This special publication features interviews with AZT clients and collaborators, examines a number of AZT cases as told by the center's own experts, and takes a look at the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
