Complexity and interconnectivity are increasingly becoming part of our day-to-day lives. The Chief Risk Officer Forum (CRO), a group of professional risk managers from the insurance industry including Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty experts, has launched a new report on managing such extreme risks.

The publication “Pushing the limits – Managing risk in a faster taller, bigger worldspotlights potential implications and sets out proposals for mitigation. It highlights how important it is for risk management to get involved in complex projects early on as many failures take root causes in the planning or inception phase. By getting involved early, risk managers can help to prevent losses from occurring in the first place.
