AGCS used its time at the annual RIMS Conference, held in San Diego, USA, from April 10-13, to promote its expertise across multiple areas, as well as to connect with brokers and media contacts from around the country.
RIMS, the Risk Management society, is a global, non-profit organization which brings networking, professional development and education opportunities to its membership of more than 11,000 risk management professionals.
The AGCS experts Claire McDonald, International Insurance Solutions Global Practice Leader, Christof Bentele, Head of Global Crisis Management and James Van Meter, Aviation Practice Leader, excelled in the spotlight presenting on topics such as 'Keys to Success in Global Insurance Programs', 'Geopoliticial Risk' and 'Managing Unique Risks Posed by Unmanned Aircraft Systems'.
AGCS executives were kept busy for the duration of the conference holding 20 interviews, including industry trades and major insurance publications. Cyber practice lead for North America, Emy Donavan, was featured in an interview on AM Best TV:
“In addition to a very successful kickoff event and our panel speakers who showcased some of our expertise, more than 200 client meetings also took place around the conference,” added Joe Strickland, Regional Head of Market Management, North America. “We took advantage of the countless opportunities to engage with brokers."
