PRESS RELEASE - New York. October 8, 2015

Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty® (AGCS), Allianz Group’s specialist corporate insurer, is introducing its extensive suite of Financial Lines coverage with a multi-city North American broker road show. The events will take place this fall in New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Toronto.

The AGCS road shows will provide brokers with expert analysis of the key exposures, coverages and policy issues impacting the Cyber Liability market as well as an examination of the global landscape of Directors and Officers (D&O) exposures for multinational companies.

“AGCS is one of the few carriers globally offering solutions across the whole spectrum of corporate and specialty risks. We are excited to bring our unparalleled technical expertise, customer-driven product portfolio and international network to the U.S. and Canada,” says Paul Schiavone, regional head of financial lines in North America.

The AGCS North American Financial Lines team consists of seasoned professionals supported by AGCS Europe and the global network of Allianz Group, a leading provider of financial service products that serves clients in more than 160 countries. AGCS estimates the Financial Lines market to be at about $15 billion, with the U.S. accounting for 60 percent of global premiums.

AGCS’s comprehensive suite of Financial Lines coverage includes:

  • Commercial Management Liability, including D&O, Cyber, Pension Trust and Employment Practices Liability for publicly-traded corporations, private companies and not-for-profit entities;
  • Professional Indemnity Liability (Errors & Omissions) covering Accountants, Lawyers, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, among other professions;
  • Financial Institutions coverage customized for Insurers, Banks, Investment Managers, Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Broker Dealers.

Schiavone adds, “AGCS Financial Lines addresses a need in the North American market that we have heard from our broker partners for some time: a premier global player  delivering first-class underwriting and claims management supported by a solutions-oriented culture. Allianz has one of the strongest financial ratings of the leading global property and casualty insurers and is solidly positioned to address the long-term financial liability exposures our clients face.”
