Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty is the leading international industrial insurer in the German market.

For decades, Allianz has insured industrial companies worldwide. Now known as Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), and created in 2006, we provide our customers with complex, individually tailored insurance products and support them with a comprehensive range of services that address their industrial and international risks in property, liability, engineering and financial lines. At the same time we are leading specialists in the fields of marine and aviation insurance.

With our financial strength we are reliable partners. Long-term stability is crucial for risk carriers and is a core strength of AGCS, which our customers and brokers prize highly, especially in times of economic turbulence.

In Germany we have around 1000 employees deployed at 6 locations. We run more than 350 international programs supported by the extensive network of Allianz regional offices and their partners in more than 150 countries around the globe. In 2008 we introduced key account management to continuously improve our understanding of customer needs. Since then all our major customers, in addition to enjoying the support of our teams of experts, have been serviced personally across all lines of business by a designated key account manager. In their role as central contact for the customers, key account managers have access to all products and services of the entire Allianz Group.

As the AGCS regional office with responsibility for Germany and Central Europe (including Austria, Switzerland and Italy) we provide management and operational resources across this region, working closely with the local management teams.
