In France, Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty combines the resources of two dedicated units, both considered as key corporate and specialty risk players.
AGF Division Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty is one of the leading carriers for Property and Casualty insurance coverage, large projects and risk management solutions, including alternative risk transfer and space insurance. Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty France is the specialist for domestic and international Marine and Aviation risks, with a focus on customer needs through specialized brokers.
Both units form an efficient synergy and work together to meet global clients' requirements. They marry their knowledge and expertise to deliver comprehensive solutions for complex risks and international insurance programs. They also benefit from the Allianz Group's financial strength and global expertise.
Together, the two entities employ around 360 people including 70 engineers (underwriting and loss control). The total gross premium in 2006 was EUR 644 million. We are insurer to two-thirds of the top 100 French companies with a market share of more than 20% in each branch. We are among top three Marine and Aviation Transport insurers in France.
