Organization and Business Transformation is the trusted partner of AGCS in the delivery of Business Change.
With a diverse team of highly skilled and motivated professionals based out of seven main international locations, our team comes from a wide variety of backgrounds including insurance, IT, business analysis, project management and change management. The combination of skills and experience enable our high performing team to successfully lead business change across a large and complex global business.

We are part of the Chief Operating Officer’s (COO) team, which is led by Sinéad Browne, COO and Board Member of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE.
What are we responsible for?
The vision of OBT is: ‘to plan and lead high quality business transformation outcomes that enable AGCS to be the benchmark in Corporate, Specialty and Risk Management Solutions.’
We are responsible for translating business strategy into an executable plan and delivering the transformation of global processes and systems worldwide. This includes the design of business architecture, the management of strategic and IT delivery projects, driving innovative solutions for our customers and enabling continuous improvement throughout the business.
What do we do?
Working as a global team, we strive to deliver constant best practice at a global and regional level. We do this via Programs aligned to the business model, and practice groups detailed as follows:
Business Solutions and Architecture
The Business Solutions and Architecture team are responsible for translating Business Strategy into solutions and design of the target architecture as well as Business Analysis from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
Our Business readiness team actively manages the impact of project change on people, structure, process and technology to enable the business to prepare for change.
Our Project Managers apply agile, waterfall and hybrid methodologies as appropriate in order to successful deliver solutions to our customers.
Business Excellence colleagues drive continuous improvement AGCS wide customer experience and productivity improvements through Customer Excellence and Lean Six Sigma (OPEX) Methodologies.
With the help of the Central Project Office team in charge of investment portfolio prioritization and transformation governance, we manage and support over 50 global and regional projects with a yearly budget in excess of €100m. We manage the delivery of our programs by focusing on solutions that consider the end-to-end customer journey, aligned with our business model.
Our work spans all functions, countries and lines of business within AGCS.
